NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) is Australia's official body that certifies translators. A NAATI certified translation is produced by a credentialed translator and includes their full name, NAATI credential number, signature, and a certification statement. It is the only translation format accepted by the Department of Home Affairs for Australian visa applications.

Most foreign-language documents submitted to the Department of Home Affairs must be translated by a NAATI-certified translator. Yes. Every T-NOVA translation is quality-checked before delivery and includes the translator's full name, NAATI credential number, certification statement, and signature - all four elements required by the Department of Home Affairs for official acceptance. If a translation is ever rejected due to our error, we redo it free of charge.

No. A translation completed by a NAATI-certified translator does not expire. You can reuse the same translation for future visa applications or renewals, as long as the original document has not changed or expired. The "valid to" date sometimes seen on a NAATI stamp refers to when the translator renews their credentials not when the translation itself becomes invalid.

No. A clear scan or high-quality photo is sufficient. T-NOVA accepts PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, and DOCX files via our online form, email, or Telegram. All pages of the document must be included. Originals never need to be mailed.

No. Self-translations are not accepted by the Department of Home Affairs or any other Australian government body. All official translations must be completed by a NAATI-certified translator who includes their credential number and signed certification statement on every document.

You will receive a certified PDF by email, ready to submit directly with your visa application. The translation is formatted to meet Home Affairs requirements and includes all required certification elements. If you need a hard copy for court or notarial purposes, please mention this when ordering.

Yes. Documents are handled only by our NAATI-certified translator under strict confidentiality. Files are transferred over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and never shared with third parties. Original scans are permanently deleted within 30 days of order completion, translated files within 90 days. Earlier deletion available on request.
